SUSPECTED SCAM!

Scam contentsI have experienced the same exact scam as the above users, and mine too originated from 15567 Western Ave, Albany NY 12203. I landed on the fraudulent website lovewart.com after using google's shopping search page. Lovewart did have quite a few hallmarks of a dubious website but I made the purchase of my liberty garden hose reel because it was < 1/3rd the regular price and I bought through paypal, so I felt I had some protection. Paypal has since denied my claim for refund because the seller provided a tracking number.

The merchant appears to be an elaborate fraud. I have yet to receive the products I ordered. What I did receive was a tracking number to a package that was destined for my city, but which was addressed to a different person, at a different address, in another part of the city, for an envelope sized package. My purchase was a large box, not an envelope. I was fortunate to have enabled tracking notifications the moment I received notice of a tracking number from the seller. As such, the moment I received a text alert stating that my package was delivered, I went to check and realized immediately that something was wrong. For the next hour I searched up and down my neighborhood streets in hope of bumping into my neighborhood mail woman, and finally found her. She located the package for the tracking number I provided her from Lovewart.com and she was able to find it at another location in the city but it was not my package at all but a much smaller one. So it appears lovewart.com somehow has cracked into the USPS database of tracking numbers or else somehow has access to a database of realtime newly created tracking numbers, and then provides these tracking numbers as a way to trick customers into thinking they have a package on the way. When the package never arrives, very few customers will bother to research what happened, and many will just assume it was stolen or lost in the mail.
The origination address 15567 Western Ave, Albany NY 12203 is the same one that other people have complained about with nearly the exact same story as me, but their purchases were from] other websites, such as, if I recall correctly, shoponar.com

Same here as all of you. Empty envelope with a piece of paper in it, and I didn’t even order anything. How do they get our info?

Same here as all of you. Empty envelope with a piece of paper in it, I looked it up on google maps. The nearest thing near it is the NYS Office of Addiction Services.

I've had exactly the same thing happen to me--only now I have received a 2nd envelope. It is empty with a piece of folded paper and originates from the address in Albany, NY. I checked PayPal and do not see any fraudulent charges. What can we do to stop them?????

I also just got the wad of paper in the mail from the same return address. This is mail fraud and is an extremely serious Federal crime. Raise hell at the post office so they are forced to track this down!

I'm beginning to think this site is also a scam. I backed out of this page to look back at my Google search, and when I came back into it to copy the URL, the URL shown in my address bar was " cart.ebay.com ". I got the real URL back up again, but it would not allow me to copy and paste it here.

The same exact thing happened to me, I ordered a Roku ultra for 49.95 /2 the price of Amazon and Walmart and target good deal but not such a good seller. Followed all the tracking information to my house but it never arrived, I filled out a post office form and they said it went to a school district here in Allison Park. Check with the school district and they open the letter size envelope and there is a piece of tinfoil in there. Call PayPal thought much more of PayPal than I do now.Filled out a Form for PayPal two days later I get a denial I lost the case because The shipper (scammer) provided PayPal with a tracking report and that the package was delivered. Sure it was delivered but not to me to a janitor in the school system and it was... Read more

Same thing happened to us, we ordered two TVs. When I went to post office to check on the tracking #s They gave me the address of where they were delivered. It was a small envelope with the back of the shipping label in it. We have been trying to file a dispute with Paypal and they say since the tracking # was delivered that there is nothing they can do. Even though the address on the envelope is not our address and not the one listed on the paypal transaction. I hope that paypal goes after this scammer so that he can stop scamming people with false websites, tracking #s and no merchandise. He owns a USPS merchant postage machine. USPS needs to take that from him as well.

Stung by the same scam that uses the tracking number that has a delivery of NO-VALUE and used by PAYPAL to deny a claim by a buyer that actually got nothing.
    All from the same address.
