I wasn't paying close enough attention, and now have to dispute the charge. I did call fitbit and told them of the site.

Can anyone tell me how to dispute this scam and get my money back? Paypal did absolutely nothing for my case and my credit card company has no "proof" that this is a scam until 15 days after I have made the purchase...

DEFINITELY A SCAM! This was for a Fitbit Charge 4 115.00. After I sent payment PayPal sent confirmation with the seller as Huan Tran with the Gmail address. I got this back after contacting seller for tracking. RIPOFF!

Had the same exact thing happen as Sam. PayPal receipt from huan tran. Emai ThaddeusGerkacg82815@gmail.com. Bogus address. I contacted PayPal and Fitbit. Doubt I will see the $91 or the charge 3. I have to say it did look legit! I hate feeling stupid

I have not received the product, I have not gotten an email giving me a tracking number, I have not gotten an email telling me the product has been shipped, I have not gotten an email confirming the purchase and when I tried to reach out to Huan at EphraimPollich40142@gmail.com the email bounced. There's nothing in the PayPal record of this transaction with a link back to the company I thought was selling me a Fit bit Charge 4

I am in the same boat. I purchase a versa 2 from this site. No one will respond and it looks like it is a different email address everytime someone purchases. Paypal is not a lot of help. I am trying to file a dispute and they have been no help so far.

Similar story. I truly thought that I'd ordered a Fitbit 4 from the legitimate Fitbit site. No response or shipping information after over a week. Paypal was next to useless but was able to dispute the charge with Discover. Will definitely be more careful in the future.

PayPal was no help as the sender managed to produce tracking # for package (weighing 0.00 lbs) staring delivery (to the city I live in but not my actual address) the day after I started the investigation through PayPal. No video recording of UPS delivering to my home (plus I was there at supposed time of delivery). I’m now disputing the charges with my credit card

My wife ordered a Fitbit watch on fitbitsport.com on May 15th and I immediately noticed a weird charge on my credit card. It was a Paypal charge to LianneAugustine. I asked her if she bought something and she said she did, but the transaction was weird and she never received a confirmation. I told her to contact the seller and ask when she would expect it to ship. After not hearing back from the seller, and noticing the scam-like nature of the website, we disputed thew charge with our credit card company. The website had been setup 8 days earlier and the prices were too good to be true.
Just today, we received a message from Paypal with a UPS tracking number that showed something shipping from Monroe Township, NJ and arriving at our house the next day. Since we never received the package, it seems incredibly weird. It's as if they spoofed the UPS system to provide a tracking for a package that never arrived. UPS tracking says it was delivered to my front porch. Since we didn't receive it, and our UPS packages never go missing; there is something really weird going on.
The website has since gone down, and there is no way to contact them. I am concerned that since the transaction was done through Paypal and since they somehow provided a tracking number, my CC company may reverse the dispute. I know we didn't receive the package as we were home, received other packages on that day, and rarely have packages go missing.
The seller's name is Nguyen Phoung Thao and email is... Read more

Paypal just notified me that they are denying my claim, since the seller shared shipping and tracking info from UPS. UPS says the package was given to "customer woman" which isn't true and I too always get my deliveries. They said it was sent by Strategic Distribution. Seller Huan Tran email ephraimpollich40142@gmail.com
This is a very sophisticated scam. I will check with my credit card company next, but with UPS saying it was shipped and received, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Karen, I too had the same problem. I was fortunate to speak with a UPS rep before everything was shut down and they confirmed what I already knew that the UPS number they provided to PayPal was indeed delivered to someone in the same town but a different name and address. PayPal will not refund the monies because the package show that it was delivered. This is now in the hands of my credit card company to get resolved. Good Luck.

Linda, I'm impressed that you got more information from UPS than I did when I called. She only gave me a name of a company and advised me to google it for more info. I did and it is a medical clothing company. I'm going to stop by the UPS store and see if I can get more info and time to call my credit card company.
Thank you!

Linda, I did talk to someone at UPS and mine too was delivered to someone different, but in the same city. UPS won't give you that information and I cannot get in touch with the seller. Paypal needs proof that it was sent to the wrong address. I spoke with UPS and they are sending me something, but will have information marked out (ie: the persons name) Once I get that, I'm sending back to paypal and then I will be heading to my bank as well.

Same thing happened to me and they have since walked off with $129 of my money. PayPal rejected my claim, citing a spoof UPS tracking number that says delivered to my town, but no address. They said they received proof of delivery but we are literally all home every day bc of COVID and no one signed for a package. My bank is investigating but told me it could take up to 90 days. I have only been able to email UPS, they won't take my call on this specific package, I can only email. I'm absolutely frustrated and feel like I'm being gaslighted by all three companies. Has anyone had any luck getting their money back? PayPal won/'t even let me appeal my claim, They rejected it and blocked me from filing a new claim.

I went to a local UPS store and they couldn't see anything useful, so they advised me to go to the main warehouse. I was given a copy of the address and shipper for the tracking # I was given. The house is a residence in my city and the shipper a medical attire distributor. The customer name says Walmart.com. I spoke with the people there and they were unaware of any unexpected deliveries. I'm sending a copy to Paypal and my credit card company. My bigger question is how are they accessing local tracking numbers that are recent. Very smooth operators!

I filed a complaint the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture and Consumer Protection (DATCP), against Tung Trieu, FitBitStore.com, PayPal, American Express, and UPS. Excerpt of that complaint is as follows:
On 05/14/2020 I purchased a Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition $129.00 USD from the website FitBitStore.com. The receipt came back to the Merchant Tung Trieu, MireyaFeldman521@gmail.com.
After not receiving the item, on May 19, 2020 I attempted to contact MireyaFeldman521@gmail.com, but received an email stating email was unable to be delivered. I attempted to contact PayPal, but received a message about offices being closed and no service available due to CoVid. I attempted to contact PayPal several times by telephone and through their website, but the website form refused to upload stating something went wrong. I have not be able to contact the seller or PayPay.
I contacted American Express who looked into the matter as a dispute no less than three times and denied the complaint stating that the seller provided proof of delivery using only the zip code as proof of delivery.
I had contacted UPS several times, and each time was told that the package was delivered, but not to my address and could not help me further. After filling my complaint with DATCP I received the below reply from UPS:
“We have had instances where individuals inappropriately use the UPS name or its services to perpetuate fraudulent activities. One example is where a seller fraudulently obtains UPS shipping l... Read more
