Thanks so much for the comments!

!!! Attention it is true - SCAM !!!

A “cute“ Asian girl from Hong Kong tried to hook up with me on Tinder, then chatted on Whats App. I should transfer Bitcoins to mareix.com ! Minimum 500€. I could have lost this. She said she bought a Porsche and Ferrari from the profit

Tel. of the lady was +852 5320 2148

She sends photos of “her“: younger girls with black long hair and sometimes sunglasses and a hat / the girls don’t really look the same

Yes, this mareix.com website is a total scam and it is being perpetrated by "girls" on Tinder pretending to have "insider information" on a fake coin called GEP. They quickly move the conversation to WhatsApp and play the long game of trying to gain your trust to get you to invest in this fake GEP token. I nearly fell for the scam back at the beginning of August when I matched with one of these scammers on Tinder (claiming to be from Hong Kong), but I got a funny feeling after about a week and started searching randomly for Tinder cryptocurrency scams on Google. I found enough information I needed to determine I was being led into a scam. I got extremely lucky and did not transfer any crypto to mareix or lose any money. Around the beginning... Leggi di più

After a few days i found out more 2 girls with the same srategy of GEP scam Tina said living in Manchester +852 5317 9586 and CiCi from Hong Kong +852 56146561. Some of the phone numbers seems no longer exist. After that i have been searching and i found out there are lots of similiar scams with ICO's sutch as PLEX, DGLC,etc. And found another site like Mareix with the same logo but named OKSBA for the sale of another fake ICO. Hello to everyone on this forum,

I have also been scamed and I started a consultancy through Coinfirm. You can visit their website at https://www.coinfirm.com/products/reclaim-crypto/.

You can send them a claim request and they will study our case, the idea is that instead of going on an individual basis we get together in a single claim (make more pressure)

They advice me that the more people involved in the claim the better chances we have to return some of our money.

I believe that, as long as we don´t have to invest any more money, it is not a bad idea to contact them. I have been in contact with other agencies and they ask for money in advance to study the case but to be honest I don´t trust them. In this case as long as there is no cost involved at the time being I believe is not a bad solution.... Leggi di più

    Hello Matias,

Sadly I don´t think is going to work. What I believe is going to happen is that the moment the Token "goes public" it´s price will drop closely to "zero". Since it will have no value in the market. Therefore they can justify the scam saying that we made a bad investment from our part.

Any of the people here are from the US? I believe our best option is trying to also get the SEC involved.

The question is how much money we would need to install a lawyer for our issue and makes it any sense because we do not know the responsible people behind the scam and the organisation.
Do you have any suggsetion how it can be work?

    Rispondi
  • Kamy31 15/10/2020 a 14:32

Well I think before spending any more money, first we need to find out who is behind this. I will not lie to you all, a lot of lawyers I have contacted told me it is very difficult to recover the money becasue it is hard to find who is behind it.

I belive Coinfirm could give us a good indication of how much it could cost the procedure and they seem expert on this matter. If any of you know any other agency or law firm that can help please tell us.

I have also contacted with ICO Class Action but they asked for money in advance to study the case which I was not willing to Spend.

I also contacted with lawyers and they had a team in the UK that could investigate who is behind this, but it was quite expensive 25.000 € for the work (which I am sure it was worth it), but they told me that they understood it was quite expensive for one individual so they advice me to direct my claim to Coinfirm to which I have already done.... To JON.90 - no i did not transfer any GEP to another platform, it is Impossible, anyway to transfer to another platform it needs to BE exchange first into another crypto or USDT because GEP is not available in any other platform. If you try to transfer to another wallet adress the GEP'S will stay locked in the Mareix platform.

I saw in now in the Google while searching for information about this, i saw the "user agreement" of Mareix, you also have in the Mareix platform in the end of any page, we should specially read point 7 and 8 because gives reason.

I also saw a few days ago after the Mareix platform been hacked as they said that the IP Server Adress has changed from Singapore to Hong Kong Island, you all can check that on Google on SCAMVOID. You can check also www scamdoc.com.... Leggi di più
